>>>Obama's behavior? You mean pulling us out of a financial catastrophe? Getting a health care reform bill passed, which Presidents had been trying to do since 1916? Maybe you should look in the mirror before casting aspersions about "just another liberal" and "somebody like that."

>>Really? We're out of financial catastrophe? Or are we just delaying the inevitable? The health care reform bill that the majority of Americans opposed? I know you have blind faith in Obama, but come on.

>1. No, we are not all the way out of the "great recession." Jobs still need to keep coming back, which most forecasts say they will.

PMFJI
Forecasts have been claiming that jobs will be coming back for months. Those forecasts are about as reliable as global warming predictions. They're not just wrong, but desperately wrong. That was while the economic situation around the world at least appeared to be stabilizing. This is no longer the case.

>But we're a heck of a lot better off than we were a year and a half ago.

I'm afraid things are about to get nasty Mike, pay attention and be prepared.

>2. What's this about a majority of Americans opposing health care reform? It probably depends what questions are asked. I know that early on in the process a heavy majority said they thought the current system was broken. Doesn't it say something to you that we have been out of step with every single other developed nation? As usual, the industry threw battalions of Gucci clad lobbyists into opposing it, along with a lot of disinformation like "You won't be able to choose your doctor" or "There will be death panels." If they worked that hard to derail it, maybe that means it's a good thing for us ordinary folk, don't you think?

PMFJO...I'll just pass on this. ;)
