Is there any benefit to converting my data access layer to Linq To SQL?

Kevin - if you are essentially asking, "should I replace my SQL queries / SQL stored procedures, with LINQ to SQL?"....

Unless someone can demonstrate a strong and compelling justification for doing so, the answer is no.
