Thanks!

An associate dropped off a brand new Win 7 64 bit lap top for me to test the Win 7 implementation. Noticed the MS-Office modules ran like slugs with crutches as well. Don't know why MS OS gets slower with every version. I guess that's why Apple is so hot (I'm rewriting the project in Java).

First order of business is to turn off unneeded services. And, fortunately, Black Viper has again outdone him/herself with a detailed tweak sheet. I need to work that out.

Win 7 is cute but slow - like a multi core ME with exploits!! So I have to detail tweak recommendations for any Win 7 64 users that come along. The UAC issues (may be able to reuse my VISTA UAC readme) have to be documented as well.

Will VFP 9 only run in XP compatible mode under Win 7 64? Do all "Program Files (X86)" installs run [only] in XP compatible mode?

Wish I could, but can't do it - SP2 has too many other issues that I don't have the time to become well versed on - and besides - when the Java Interface is done - won't have to worry about it anymore.

My solutions is a function that will set either the "Picture" or "PictureVal" property based on the OS. Everything is subclassed visa vi a PRG define class - so it'll all load in [once] at the start.

Mucho appreciato Naomi - thanx - and a tip of the hat!

(BTW - thanks to you too Michel)
