If you go with Dell, you'll have to get a business model to get a docking station. That means your company/employer will have to get it because Dell won't sell business models to consumers.
You'll want a 7200 RPM hard drive, the biggest you can get and at least 8 Gig RAM. For gaming you want good video.
Come to think of it, Dell owns Alienware. You might want to look at those too.
Update: You'll also need at least Win7 Professional
