Yes Mark same problem you mentioned. If that would make you feel better I started to get before normal battery lifetime expectations (used little and mostly on the go - I can be on the go rarely). I am glad you are happy with the Toshiba:) It was worse than Dell for me I gave it away for free instead of throwing out of window. Anyway I think next time I would go and buy the cheapest I can, just enough to get me connected to my server (are they called netbook, minibook now?). The best notebook I have seen cannot keep up with my relatively old and much cheaper desktop, I suggest friends not to buy a notebook. In USA however they are cheap and considering the earnings there it may not be a matter to pay for a notebook every other 2-3 years (unless if it is used only for simple stuff like Office usage then probably you would be using it for lifetime).
