Thanks. Good to know going forward. I need the CTP for now. In the meantime I found that I could do what I need with 2005 Express. That installation worked fine.

Question. Is this just a problem with the CTP version. Can full production 2008 Server R2 Coexist with 2008 Server Express?

It looks like it is going to install, but then it takes me to an 'upgrade' screen which shows all of the various sql installations I have on the machine and prompt with regard to what installation I want to upgrade. I don't want to upgrade anything. I just want an instance of 2008 express.
