To verify my post that ZAP doesn't fire RI triggers, this is from the online help:

"Issuing ZAP does not cause a Delete trigger to occur. For more information about creating triggers for a table"

But, as Craig posted, ZAP does NOT delete the RI. It just doesn't use it.
