JK is referring to a thread in on VB Journal's website some months back that was started and fueled by JVP. Given JVP's love of an argument and occasional stray into an ad-hominem attack, you could imagine the heat over there.

What I never saw brought up were nearly identical quotes from authorities on the subject that explicitly state that a tool is only object based if it does not support inheritance.

Hearing it from Booch is all the argument I need to hear before closing the book. (Is there antone else nearly as qualified to make this sort of statement)
