Jeff ---

Is it still in suspended animation right now, or have you gotten it fixed so that you can use the original VFP version?

My concern more than anything else is not to leave you hanging.

Jim

You reported this bug today and got a response on a fix today. (And, curiously, you have not reported any problem with what the new version either does or does not do, only that you cannot reinstall the original)

>Maybe I missed your message. I got the one message to press IGNORE button a number of times during the error dialog, but that doesn't fix the VFP version. The error dialog comes up all over the place.

>>Unless there is some problem with it, I am surprised that you would have any interest in returning to the original -- and, even if you wanted to, that you would consider reinstalling VFP9 altogether to replace software that is running without problems.

>Again, I wanted the luxury of being able to easily go back to the plain VFP version without uninstall hassles which I've had with other free VFP stuff. Unfortunately, at this point I feel annoyed and I feel like a jerk because I'm complaining about something that was FREE and done by good hearted volunteers. But, bottom line is that I ignored my "never install BETA software" rule and I can only blame myself.
