BTW, what happened to ozone holes, gone out of fashion?

My understanding is that around 2003 or so, the ozone depletion showed the first signs of "slowing" (from CFC bans) but will take about 50 years to complete a "recovery" mode, because of the long life of CFCs and other related compounds.
