And let us not forget the fact that their schedule is an unbalanced MLB embarrassment (imho). They faced the Yankees and Boston far too often for it to be fair. Then throw in the Rays on top of that, and the Jays were trapped in a meat grinder.

From 2002 to 2009, in a division where the Yankees and Red Sox have dominated (and where Tampa rose in 2008), Halladay was 130-59 overall. He won nearly 70% of his decisions. In the last 3 seasons, he was 9-2 against the Yankees - amazing.

I think when you look at "total body of work" the last several seasons, Doc is #1 and Lincecum a close second. They both are great. The real difference may be longevity. Doc has gotten better with age (and he can still hit 94 on the gun). What will Lincecum be like at age 30? Only time will tell.
