When we have an upload control on a form to upload a file to a Web server, if we validate the page and return to the page, we lost all of our files selected. Basically, the viewstate preserves all values of our controls but not for an upload. I think this is a protocol bound to the browser. I haven't seen a browser capable of preserving those values. Or, is there a way to preserve those values?
