I believe you would need, not only the primary key (the unique field), but also a timestamp - a field of type DateTime, to know which version of the record is newer. Every time you do any change, you would have to change the timestamp. This is actually the complicated part - maintaining it updated. Doing this in a trigger would probably give you an error message, about illegal recursion; I think you would have to do this in whatever form changes the data in the table.
