It's the story of the Jays in microcosm. Huge team home run numbers and huge team extra base numbers. Not so huge team batting average.

In August 1998, I was in Texas and saw a game between the Jays and the Rangers - and watched Carlos Delgado launch 3 bombs that still haven't landed.
