See if http://www.berezniker.com/content/pages/visual-foxpro/lowering-memory-usage-application can help

>I checked MegaFox and found out a sample that helps you browse the internet programmatically by opening a IE window inside a VFP form. I've adapted the application so it automatically sends requests to a certain web site (with a timer). So every X seconds, it goes to the url and takes the page in memory and reads the information it needs, then go on. This works fine at first, but after few minutes, it starts to jam the computer. With a Ctrl-Alt-Del I see that the memory usage for the application keeps going up. At first it's not a problem, but when it starts to use the hard drive to find memory, it becomes impossible to do any other work on the computer.
