Hi Stan,

>Actually I am using C# 4.0, EF 4, WPF 4, MM 4. When I first generated the EF, I did not change the name of EntityModelCodeGenerator to mmEntityModelCodeGenerator. I was able to fill datagrids and associated text/checkbox controls and they were synchronized with the associated grid but was not able to obtain the rest of CRUD. The associated MM CRUD buttons were not working properly. I thought maybe it was because I didn't change the name of EntityModelCodeGenerator, adding the prefix mm. When I try to regenerate the Entities using mmEntityModelCodeGenerator, I get a message that it cannot find mmEntityModelCodeGenerator. Has anyone seen this problem?
>BTW, everything works fine, e.g. CRUD, when using VS2008, forms, and mm Classic Entities.
>Thanks!

I just tried this and I get the same message. Interestingly enough I just checked the same property on an edmx within a new mm Entity business project and the property for Custom Tool is empty. However running the custom tool works as expected. Is this an existing business object project you are trying to convert over to use the entity framework?

I opened both types in an xml editor and I don't see anything different. I guess I don't have an anser at the moment, but maybe Kevin will jump in and offer some advice. I am sure you could get around your issue by creating another MM Business project to create the edmx you need and then copy it over to your existing project. Not a great plan if you have lots you already did with this, but a possible solution none the less until you know of a better answer.
