If it were me, I'd be concerned about the design engineers having thought through all possible combinations of bending, shear and torsion applied to main structural members and welds. Not to mention, were any corners cut during construction? In conditions like that, they're more than just academic questions.

At this point it seems the girl has been picked up by a French fishing vessel. Apparently she'll be getting a trip to Kerguelen before returning to Reunion.
