I need to show messages in the style of a marquee on a VFP form. In general it is not a problem to have a label object moving from right to left and re-position after reaching the most left position.

I am using a timer that changes the left property each 25 ms.

However the effect is not completely smooth as you would expect on a VFP form. Therefore I was thinking to look for another solution, either a flash object or what ever. Does someone have an idea what I could use as an alternative? The text must be changable by the VFP application of course.
