>I have and continue to do some consulting for Servoy to create technical content like screencasts and a technical whitepaper, based on the demand they have from FoxPro developers and ISVs. I also do the same for Sybase, for their Advantage Database Server (ADS) product as it works very well with VFP DBFs directly and as a relational database for VFP on the client or middle tier. And Servoy works well with Sybase ADS. You can find some of the content I've done for both products at http://mashupx.com/blog/servoy and http://mashupx.com/blog/sybase, with more coming for both later this month. It's mainly for those VFP developers and businesses who are interested in evaluating and using one or both products, and their is an increasing demand for both.

>>>I've done some time-based consulting using Servoy, just as I have with many other products and technologies. The majority of my time spent with the product is my own time. I don't do consulting for my time involved in community related activity online chat/forums, or based on how many people join a webinar or watch a screencast. My time online is my own. There is a significant demand for more VFP related information and resources by developers and companies with VFP apps and experience. Many FoxPro based ISVs have already successfully built and deployed new Servoy applications. And Servoy offers the ability to add web-based apps to existing VFP apps.

>>>With Servoy, I haven't been as interested and passionate about learning and using a new product since I first started using the Visual FoxPro 3.0 alpha/beta. My interest is in specialized consulting services, and possibly future product based offerings. I installed and am learning the iOS SDK, so I guess you can ask me if I have a business or financial interest in Apple too. :)

>>Was that a yes or a no answer to Al's question?

I take the non-response as a yes.

>>>>Out of curiosity - do you have any business or financial interest in the company behind this product?
