Actually, Win 7 doesn't ship with an email client. You need to download something. Microsoft recommends Windows Live Mail.

>Well if I could get the capabilities to pull out incoming email data as well, I would move it all into a VFP environment to get away from things such as win 7's microsoft mail (I believe is what they call it), that was one of the considerations, but thanks for bring up the idea.
