Bill,

1) A 1 column grid sitting to the left of a 23 column grid.
2) Code in the Scrolled event that keeps the column visible

>In an application I am developing, I need to display many (24) columns in a single grid object. Due to the available size of the form, I need to use a horizontal scroll bar to move through these. The problem is the the first column refers to all the other 23 columns and of course it is scrolled offscreen as the user scrolls through the other columns. I need to 'freeze' this first column so that the user can refer to it as they scroll through the other columns. I have tried a split pane but that looks hoky. Any suggestions ?
