Actually I've got dollar bill I use as a bookmark somewhere. Maybe I should send that. When Ayn Rand visited Manhattan for the first time, it was a cold and snowy night. She walked past a bank window and traced the symbol of the dollar sign on the glass.
And at the end of Atlas, when John Galt and Dagny Taggart look down from a mountain at the disaster of the collectivized country and pronounce that they are ready to go back to the world, Dagny traces a symbol of the dollar sign in the air.
Rand actually wasn't about money per se...she was about the necessary freedoms that make wealth and production possible. Our country sort of "led the way" on that front :)
