Hi Ken,
just finished watching the webinar as downloaded mp4...
I am impressed by what you showed, all the more as I visited a basic class for Java/Eclipse some weeks ago and wasn't impressed at all because of all the missing VFP Data features. Java is a powerful tool for sure, but switching to it by rewriting our existing VFP Apps would need way too much time. Servoy seems to be so much more data driven that it was fun to watch the videocast.
My question for an additional videocast is, can Servoy access COM-Servers (typically VFP based ;-) ) and if so, how is it done?
>To all those who participated in the webinar I presented today hosted by Servoy, feel free to reply on this thread with your comments, questions, and any feedback on the topic. And also to those who end up watching the recorded webinar soon once it's posted at
http://servoy.com/foxpro. I'm working on a whitepaper and many short demo/feature screencasts showing cool Servoy features. Any suggestions and ideas for content and future tutorials is welcome.
Best Regards
-Tom
Debugging is twice as hard as writing the code in the first place.
Therefore, if you write the code as cleverly as possible, you are,
by definition, not smart enough to debug it.
