I've always felt that the most exciting (albeit with scant competition) thing about futbol was the robust hoolganism of the fan-base.
But at the World Cup the side has really been let down. (Where is your pride, Three Lions? ) The European fans seem remarkably incapable of turning those droning plastic vulvazoombas into rectal suppositories.
My biggest fear is American technology will cause these sounds to be sampled and amplified and added to the amazingly annoying noise level of pre-recorded piped in sound at NBA games.
My guess is if somebody whips one of those things out in the Cleveland dog pound, amidst the terrible towels, in the Raider's pirate or Chicago Bears dens and there will be a new sound to fan flatulence.
