>>5)US financial markets go up, not because the underlying companies are delivering value, but because the US dollar inflates.

>Your use of the word 'inflates' is confusing. As written it means that the USD is weakened by a strong oil price - which is true. But in the context of your post you seem to be arguing the opposite?

Thanks for correction - mixed up exchange units with price.

This:
The USD (dollar) inflates as the price of oil inflates.

Should read
The USD (dollar) inflates the price of oil goes up.

One way to measure inflation is how many exchange units a commodity traded for today verses how many the commodity traded for in the past.

Weak Dollar (more exchange units/commodity) = Bubble Market

Strong Dollar (fewer exchange units/commodity) = Market Collapse.

That's been the setup for 5 or more years - there was a decoupling (for about 2 minutes) a few months back.

High Oil means Weak Dollar - or - Weak Dollar Means High Oil

End War = Weak Commodities = Strong Dollar = Market Bubble Pops

Inefficiencies rule the markets for the moment.
