Hey, I use it. I think it's the best tool on the market. But it's extremely expensive (like $800 to start) for what it does, it has mucho bugs (check out their newsserver) and many, many simply boneheaded UI (and other) design decisions.

For example, if you change a file that you're going to distribute, you have to click the mouse on five different buttons to rebuild. The latest version--5.5, which will only cost me $200 to upgrade from 5.1--reportedly lets you do this with one click. It took them how many versions to get this right?

Another example is the editor, which purportedly emulates VC++'s, but didn't (until the recent maintenance release) let you use the Home key to go to the very beginning of the line. Deleting a line requires selecting at least one character before you can use CTRL+L.

I really could go on and on. These things may seem minor, but there's lots of them. I've never used a product that had such a poor price/performance ratio.

That said, I think you should go ahead. InstallShield programmers are in demand. :)
