I've search the group no answer so here I go.
I am using a Star sp212 receipt printer to open a cash drawer, with the commands:

set printer to star
??? chr(7)

This works, once, and then nothing, the printer will print receipts and open the drawer when it does that but the above command will only work the first time the program is run.
