Getting stuck this kind of bugs on such a trivial call - an open file resources ! - in 2010 after 26 years of programming including over 20 years with the fox ... Looks pretty stupid. But of course, MS is playing a very complex set of support issues for older stuff and I understand that this may have been the case here.

I'll possibly never understand why the previous calls did break the application... I just get it that shell32 is now possibly the cleanest game in town for those trivial actions.
