Again you're not quite right about that. First of all the IRS doesn't track a worker's immigration status. Secondly I don't know where you came up with thinking you have to have a SSN to pay taxes - but you're wrong about that too. There is an alternative to the Social Security number offered by the IRS so it can collect income tax from foreign workers...any many illegal immigrants choose to do this.
If you're talking about an illegal immigrant using a stolen SSN - well duh they're still paying income taxes. 'The impact on Social Security is significant because most of that money is never claimed by the people who pay it but instead helps cover retirement checks to legal workers' - and that's billions per year. Plus keep in mind a lot of these people are paying more in taxes each year than they actually should.
