I don't know if this applies to your case but I have had the following issue. Many companies now have their exchange server or SMTP blocking emailing initiated on the client. They only allow emails to be initiated on the server. I have had several customers started having problems with my application emailing to SMTP from client PCs where it was never an issue before. HTH.
