This is a fairly comprehensive write up of what we now know about the AIG bailout and subsequent payoff to the banks.
My personal favorite part is how the banks were given many "thanks for their patience" for having to wait to get 100 cents on the dollar payoffs from the taxpayer bailed out AIG.
