I recently installed Visual Studio 2010, which included some SQL 2008 components.
Now when I try to connect to SQL 2005 I get:
"This version of Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio Express can only be used to connect to SQL Server 2000 and SQL Server 2005 servers. (Microsoft.SqlServer.Express.ConnectionDlg)"
If I try to browse for servers, there are none listed under the Local Servers tab, yet the services console show SQL Express running.
Before the VS2010 install, I had no problems with SQL.
Anyone?
