Hi Marcia,
I've read your article on combo & list - boxes in grids and studied the samples that you kindly provide.
Since you clearly are the expert here I hope you'll forgive me bothering you with this issue.
I've got the following situation:
A grid with a dropdown list with some text and an id column, where the text is displayed and the id is returned and updates the data. All fairly straightforward, and working fine with a sql-statement and rowsourcetype = 3.
Unfortunately the content of my drop-down is not static for the duration of the session, so I opted for a remote view which is re-queried.
The rowsourcetype is set to fields, and it's also working - well, sort of.
There is an undesirable side-effect, in that the selected data are only displayed correctly by using the mouse.
When using the keyboard -which is the preferred method- the displayvalue, regardless of what was selected, is left blank when the listbox loses the focus.
I'd appreciate any suggestions you may have for a solution.
TIA
Peter
