If you have your PC image backup prior to installing VS2010, I suggest saving your current work somewhere and go back to pre-VS 2010 install.

When you will be installing it, read all prompts carefully and make sure to chose right answer. I suspect somehow on one of the options you answered Yes and VS2010 upgraded your databases to SQL Server 2008 compatibility level.

That's the only possible explanation I can see for the problem.
