var/DLR: yes, but this does it without the DLR; and so, unlike the DLR-based languages, Boo assemblies can and do return .Net types, and so can be used directly by other .Net languages. Well, it can be done use clrtype() in IPy, but it's non-.Netish, and something of a pain. compared to slapping an attribute on the class or method.

re: code conversion -- unfortunately, at this time the SharpDeveloper Refactory converts from C# to Boo, but not v-v. They need the converter to take code emitted by controls when they are dropped on forms, and turn that into code consistent with the backend (Boo, IPy, Ruby) being supported. And yes, having it emit C# that compiled would go a long way toward making Boo commercially acceptable.

Until then, I'll use it for my tools, and for those things (WCF contracts being one) that IPy can't do yet.
