>>Hi everybody,
>>
>>I usually keep my laptop plugged in using regular power unit. Today I unplugged it for a short period of time and now it keeps telling me that my battery is running low and it needs re-charging. But why does it think that it needs to use battery?

>>Is there something I need to adjust?
>>
>>I haven't re-started it for a long period of time, I usually just close it for the night and re-open the next day.

>Assuming there's no specific problem with your particular battery or make/model of laptop, here's some general tips about use of modern laptop batteries:

Say, last night it went down to 7% (as I was not using power unit) and I don't see it's going up at all today (it still shows very low on the icon).
If it's not broken, fix it until it is.
