That's a better answer than I gave. The original question is very ambiguous as there is no such thing as C# VS 2008 or C# VS2010. C#, VS, and the .NET framework are all different products that can (and have had) different version numbers and be released on different schedules.

C# 4.0 (marketed as Visual C# 2010)
VB 10 (marketed as Visual Basic 2010) *** NOTE: It is not marketed/nor versioned as VB.NET
.NET Framework 4.0.30319 (marketed as .NET Framework 4) *** NOTE It is not marketed as 4.0
