We can all argue until we are blue in the face about inheritance, but in the end, the market and Microsoft may not value it the way we do.
The fact is that Delphi, all versions of Java (including Microsoft J++), VFP, Powerbuilder, and C++ all have inheritance. VB does not. Look at how the market has "punished" VB for not having OOP, then decide how much it matters.
