I'd vote for Newt in a New York second if I thought he could win. I do not. He carries too much baggage from the impeachment, ethics violations and his flirtation with the greenies right before the Climategate rug was pulled out from under them.

Obama/Palin is easy. Palin by a WIDE margin. She may have her intellectual faults, but I put her mental capacity far and above Obama's. I have yet to be presented with any shred of evidence as to His superior intellect. His ideas and policies are a tried and failed regurgitation of bankrupting socialist domestic policy, detente kowtowing foreign policy and historically inept Keynesian fiscal policy. The people he's surrounded with have never run anything besides a campaign and are treating this as their opportunity to put their egg-headed theoretical plans into real world practice with devastating results. Nonetheless, I think too much damage has been done to her for her to have a legitimate shot in 2012.

I'm looking forward to the campaign, which should start up around January 2011. ;)
I'd like to see some new blood in the game. Paul Ryan, I'm looking at you.
