>that's the reason why you had to generate .msk files. In case of some parts of you bmp contained white, that had to be displayed as white and not as transparent you needed a msk to make sure, so that part became non-tranparent.

Easier with BMPs: Transparent = RGB(255,255,255), "White" = RGB(254,254,254)
