The House is changing hands and the Senate is definitely in play. The White House had Gibbs say as much on Sunday in hopes of motivating the dejected progressive base. Out here on the loony left coast, there's now polling showing Fiorina leading Boxer for the first time.

No chance! Sound fiscal policy is the name of the game right now. There's no way any candidate would chance taking anyone less than solidly fiscally conservative with them on the ticket.
