Tim,
there is loads of space available for the icon. I think the problem is that MM.NET cannot work out which control to display the icon next to as the rule fails on the PlanFK field, but that field is not bound to any control on the form.

>>>Hi,

>>>I'm using MM.NET 3.6 on a web form application. I have a Policy Form which allows the user to select a Plan from a gridview, I then display the Plan Code and Description in a text box by concatenating them. The Plan's Primary Key gets stored in Policies.PlanFK. The user must select a Plan as this field cannot be null/empty. How do I tell MM.NET to display the little red exclamation mark icon next to the Plan Code/Description textbox? Right now I get a message that the record cannot be saved and to check the error icons, but none is visible.
