At the moment, with FF I have to log in twice. Even then, the toolbar numbers aren't present, and I don't receive audio notifications. The issue of clicked-on messages in the top right frame showing up in new tabs has thankfully disappeared.

I switched to Firefox 3.6 and it works great most of the time, but sometimes I experience weird behavior like you described here on the UT. With Chrome it would bog down periodically on Facebook as well, however Firefox only seems to have issues here on the UT and then sporadically.
