I have used ODBC with prostgres successfully before. You might look at this to see if it helps. EnterpriseDB is a company that extends postgres.
http://www.enterprisedb.com/documentation/ado.html>ok I'll explain better what I'm doing, I'm working with VFP9 doing a project for school at first I worked with sql server and in fact is what I like and use it more but for a strategy of price I had to find a motor database that is free and giving me all the benefits that sql server postgres then there came out and the problems I have with the recordset when adding data, I was informed that the postegresql ole DB provider does not allow you to add data database that is free and giving me all the benefits that sql server postgres then there came out and the problems I have with the recordset when adding data, I was informed that the postegresql ole DB provider does not allow you to add data it is only to read data and that is what I want to know if it's true
