You can create a SQL script to generate your data and you can execute it outside of the SQL server manager, but you or your users will need to Enable "xd_cmdshell". Starting with SQL server 2005 this feature is disabled by default to protect your server from malicious scripts.

>I am looking for info about how to install my VFP application and its sql database. Now my app uses vfp tables and i use installshield to make setup. If i use SQL server for data, how can i install my database on the sql server instance, if present. Can i do it with installshield or i have to build an application that runs some kind of script on the sql server instance ? Sql server Express setup can be executed in installshield directly ? or i have to make this setup a prerequisite for installing my application ?
