I just confirmed that and the both the copies (PC and Mobile) of ActiveSync says connected

Actually I used only half of ActiveSync. As I do not use Outlook but use ThunderBird + SunBird instead so I already was using FinchSync to sync contacts and ActiveSync was only used for the Docs folder synching. Now ActiveSync will not do that too. Sadly the initial connection of ActivEsync is required by FinchSync so baring one typical conditions where it syncs I can't even sync my contacts / appts / tasks too now. Hope this one supplements whatever that FinchSync needs from ActiveSync. Not sure if it matters, but when I connect my mobile it tries to connect to the internet from the mobile instead of using the one from my PC which it previously did.
