>Aluminum and iron are part of the make up of bricks. And of course the hijack jerks couldn't have smuggled any thermite onto the plane in their baggage. Why do people have to come up with this crap. I saw it happen as it happened. The planes did hit the towers. The gas tanks were full for a flight across the continent. The explosion was jet fuel. Were bombs also planted in the Pentagon? No. There is no reason whatsoever for the Americans to kill their own people, let alone conspire with Al Qaeda.

>Grady, you're absolutely right. What was being promoted is fiction. These tower conspiracy theories are only slightly less despicable than the Holocaust deniers.

>I had the chance to talk yesterday to a chemist. He confirmed what I'd previously read: that it would have taken tons of thermite to pull off that kind of explosion and to accelerate the amount of heat and energy thermal load compared to a jet with nearly full tanks of jet fuel.

>And even if it HAD, thermite burns chaotically and would not have been able to cut vertical columns in a building of that size. The science just doesn't back the conspiracy claims.

If you follow the trail of this myth, you'll find that it leads back to the middle east where they put the cap on it by saying that the Americans did it to themselves so that that they would have a reason to go to the middle east to kill Muslims. It's an absurd tale, but it seems that the bigger the lie the more they believe it. (Remind you of anybody - his name rhymes with Hitler)
I ain't skeert of nuttin eh?
Yikes! What was that?
