I wasn't complaining - the semi-colon is very useful as it saves a lot of:-

m=..
m = m+...
m = m+...

The problem lies more in my expectation that syntax colouring would change the next line so I'd know, but of course it can't. (In my real problem the line was an SQL statement where I commented out the first line and entered a new line underneath)

Semi-colons have always been fun, especially for ex-Pascal programmers.
