Google Deep Burner - a free ISO burner (also burns file dvds etc ) Burn the ISO to a dvd and use that.
Alternatively, google Virtual Clone Drive which will let you "mount" the ISO to a drive letter and run it as if it were a DVD.
IMHO "de-isoing" just creates more potential difficulties than it is worth, depending on how the ISO was designed/created.

>I have VS 2008 installed on my Windows 7 laptop. I downloaded iso file and tried running setup.exe from that file (when I viewed it). It first extracted files to some temp folder, then went through setup and gave me this error. However, I can not view the log (clicking on the links doesn't open anything).

Though a good deal is too strange to be believed, nothing is too strange to have happened.
- Thomas Hardy
Half the harm that is done in this world is due to people who want to feel important. They don't mean to do harm-- but the harm does not interest them. Or they do not see it, or they justify it because they are absorbed in the endless struggle to think well of themselves.
-- T. S. Eliot
Democracy is two wolves and a sheep voting on what to have for lunch.
Liberty is a well-armed sheep contesting the vote.
- Ben Franklin
Pardon him, Theodotus. He is a barbarian, and thinks that the customs of his tribe and island are the laws of nature.
