I then went on to delete the profile and recreated a new one and lo the sync starts, but then ActiveSync crashes everytime it is syncing. Tried uninstall-reinstall but no luck. Any suggestions?

UPDATE: I was syncing Notes, which was crashing it, I just kept it to sync files and things are fine now. Thanks for your patience in hearing me out.

As for the other part of the sync using FinchSync well atleast it synced yesterday so hopefully I will get those portions working even if the file sync fails.

Thanks,I tried that, either I cannot understand it, but simple file sync is not an existing feature but was more tuned for multimedia syncing, IMO.
